Enjoy concentrated study from the peace of your own home. Your one-on-one lessons take place online using Zoom, Teams (formerly Skype), Meet, and some other popular video-call apps. Free orientation time is included to make sure we are connected.
While some would love to read music, others would like to dive right into the world of harmony and composition. No matter your goals, lessons are crafted to your mindset. We'll be exploring the shapes and forms of harmony as do all musicians.
At the heart of our simplified approach to fast learning, we will be sure to learn all about the 7 primary modal-scales, and put them into practice in all key signatures. Chords will easily fit into these scales and logically into your understanding.
Then we can explore further, how various key-signatures fit together due to the mysterious relationship between the modes, which is now simply revealed. The secret to writing innovative songs is being able to navigate multiple key-signatures within a section of music. Use the free online composition tool while it becomes natural to you.
The key to learning quick is to practice, and with this approach it's actually fun and rewarding. It was always fun for your instructors who could see the instant reward in musical study. During practice, you are likely to ocationally create a new song.
